As the anticipation for the 2024 INDYCAR season builds, fans are in for a treat with the announcement of an exciting partnership between INDYCAR and Parkside Cards. This three-year collaboration aims to bring the thrill of open-wheel racing to fans through a brand-new trading card series, offering a chance to win incredible prizes and get closer to the action.

Scheduled to launch on March 1, the INDYCAR Collection by Parkside will be available at race events, retail stores, and online. The series promises to engage fans with a range of collectibles, contests, and giveaways, enhancing the overall race weekend experience for avid supporters.

Parkside Cards, known for their card collections featuring the US Women’s National Soccer Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, is expanding its portfolio by venturing into the world of motorsport. The INDYCAR Collection Hobby boxes, priced at $88.99 plus shipping, contain 20 packs with eight cards each, ensuring that each box includes two autographed cards. For those preferring retail packs, hanger packs featuring 25 cards will be available, with an autographed card included in every 18th pack.

One of the unique offerings within the collection is the inclusion of relic cards, which contain actual pieces of brick from the hallowed grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. This exciting addition allows fans to own a tangible piece of racing history and adds an extra layer of excitement to their collections. The base set boasts 162 cards, complemented by a 72-card Marquee Moments insert set, along with thematic inserts like Race Events, Pit Pass, and Indy NXT. The series also offers autographs from 27 different drivers, with special Blue, Black, and 1/1 Gold parallels that enhance the collectibility factor.

Mark Miles, President and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, emphasizing the significance of trading cards in connecting fans with the sport’s stars. He believes that the new INDYCAR card series will provide fans with a dynamic and interactive way to engage with the personalities and talents of INDYCAR racing.
