Upper Deck Signs Exclusive Deal with NHL Draft’s Macklin Celebrini

Upper Deck, a powerhouse in the world of sports and entertainment collectibles, is proud to unveil its latest signing – Macklin Celebrini. Following Celebrini’s groundbreaking three-year entry-level contract with the San Jose Sharks® on July 6, Upper Deck has secured an exclusive deal to produce his autograph trading cards. This partnership grants Upper Deck the rights to feature Celebrini’s name, image, likeness, and signature on a range of trading card collections, including popular series like Upper Deck Flagship, SP Authentic, and O-Pee-Chee-Platinum.

At just 18 years old, Macklin Celebrini made headlines as the top pick in the 2024 Upper Deck NHL Draft™ by the San Jose Sharks® on June 28. His rise to fame includes becoming the youngest recipient of the Hobey Baker Award during his freshman year in college – a prestigious accolade recognizing him as the country’s top college player. Celebrini’s outstanding 2023-24 season led to multiple honors, including Hockey East Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Scoring Champion, and the Three-Stars Award for his exceptional performance in the regular season.

Jason Masherah, President of Upper Deck, expressed excitement about adding Celebrini to their roster of hockey talents. “Macklin Celebrini is a remarkable athlete, and we are delighted to have him join our lineup of hockey stars,” Masherah stated. He emphasized Upper Deck’s commitment to bringing fans closer to their beloved NHL players, highlighting their dedication to showcasing both seasoned veterans and rising sensations. The partnership with Celebrini marks an important moment in his career, and Upper Deck is eager to capture his future successes on the ice once he debuts in the NHL.

To mark this significant collaboration, fans can kickstart their Macklin Celebrini collection on Upper Deck’s e-Pack® platform with a special limited edition Game Dated Moments card. This exclusive offer is available until July 25 at 8:59 AM PST, giving enthusiasts a unique chance to own a piece of Celebrini memorabilia. Additionally, fans can anticipate the release of more Celebrini trading card products throughout the upcoming 2024-25 NHL season, adding to the excitement surrounding this young hockey prodigy.
