Leaf’s Baseball Card Sets Highlight MLB Prospects and Autographs

Leaf Trading Cards, a stalwart in the trading card industry, has unveiled two highly anticipated baseball card sets that are set to make waves in the collecting world. With a focus on showcasing top MLB prospects, autographs, and exclusive inserts, Leaf’s upcoming releases are sure to excite collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The first of these releases is Leaf Metal, which is scheduled to hit the market on October 25. Available in both Hobby and Jumbo Box formats, Leaf Metal offers collectors a chance to snag some truly remarkable cards. The Hobby Box boasts a total of seven cards, including four autographs, two base/parallel cards, and an exclusive “mojo auto.” On the other hand, the Jumbo Box contains 14 cards, with eight autographs, four base/parallel cards, a Jumbo Box-exclusive “pulsar auto,” and a “slabbed auto proof.” All autographs and base parallel cards in Leaf Metal are limited to just 35 copies or less, adding to their exclusivity.

One of the most coveted cards in the Leaf Metal set is a triple autograph card featuring the top three picks of the 2024 MLB Draft – Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, and Chase Burns. Additionally, collectors can look forward to autographs from standout draftees like Nick Kurtz, Hagen Smith, and Konnor Griffin. Baseball America’s top-ranked prospect, Roman Anthony, makes an appearance in the set, along with other highly touted prospects such as Chase Dollander, Dylan Crews, and Coby Mayo. The inclusion of future hopefuls like Ethan Holliday and established players like Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and James Wood further adds to the set’s appeal.

Leaf’s second offering, Leaf Press Pass Premium, is set to be released on November 8. This premium set boasts high-quality cards contained in exclusive boxes featuring six base cards and parallels, with an impressive five autographs per box. Collectors can expect one autograph per box to be numbered to 25 or less, enhancing the set’s collectability. With a 100-card base set and a 100-card retro base set, each accompanied by eight parallels limited to 35 copies or less, Leaf Press Pass Premium offers collectors a diverse range of cards to add to their collections.

Lea Press Pass Premium will feature autographs from 2024 draftees like Bazzana, Condon, Kurtz, Smith, and Burns, as well as promising future prospects like Ethan Holliday. The set also pays homage to veteran stars such as Mookie Betts, Ichiro, and Nolan Ryan, ensuring a mix of both new and established talent for collectors to enjoy. Autographs in the base set are numbered to 199 or fewer, while retro base autographs are capped at 49 or fewer. Additionally, collectors can look forward to the “Press Box Signatures” insert, featuring iconic names such as John Smoltz, Jim Rome, and Vin Scully.

Both Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium will be available for purchase on Leaf’s official website and at major card retailers, making them easily accessible to collectors worldwide. With a stellar lineup of talent, from rising rookies to seasoned veterans, these sets promise to be a must-have addition to any serious collector’s repertoire. Leaf Trading Cards continues to raise the bar with its innovative releases, offering collectors a chance to own a piece of baseball history.
